Changing YouTube

I got a little bit bored of my old banner. I liked the idea of me holding Marley in my hand, I thought it was cute. But overall, I'd prefer one of those quirky drawings of me holding Marley and I am nowhere near good enough an artist to even attempt that, so for now I just settled with other images I could find to create a new banner for my channel.

It wasn't even that long ago when I created the first banner - according to Intsagram, it was around 21 weeks ago. It doesn't take me long to get bored - obviously. In another 21 weeks, I'll probably be bored of my new banner too!

MEET MY NEW ART:

Unfortunately, I'm not a wiz at photoshop yet, so this is the best I can do for now, but I'm pretty happy with how it looks! I wanted it to be pretty simple and I love the idea of quirky drawings of things I love rather than actual images because I feel actual images look too sharp. Also, if you look closely, you'll be able to see a light purple pain splodge. Dad said he thinks it'd look better a little bit darker, but I dunno! I don't think it looks too bad like that does it?!

Either way, new banner = DONE.

Also, I finally reached 100 subscribers, yay! (103, actually). I know that 103 isn't a lot, but it's just nice to know that there are 103 people out in the world who are actually interested in what I have to say and my opinions. So I thank all of those who have subscribed to me.

YouTube

SOOO I am one subscriber away from 100 subscribers on YouTube. Now, obviously in comparison to most of YouTube, that isn't that many subscribers, but for me it is a big achievement!

I started my first video over a year ago but then didn't make anymore up until September/October time last year, so to gain 99 subscribers in that space of time is something I'm very proud of.

ANYWAYYY, the point in this post is just to show you my newest video: MINI TOPSHOP HAUL.

I have a long list of other videos that I have in mind including some beauty, DIY and baking, which I'm super looking forwards to. So if you enjoy my videos, remember to keep an eye out! (or better yet, subscribe!)

Topshop Wishlist

It's not hard for me to find something I want from Topshop. Give me a laptop and 10 minutes and guaranteed you'd find that I would have picked out at least 3 things that I want.

In honour of this curse, I thought that I'd do a Topshop wishlist.

WINTER HAUL • Topshop, MAC & More!

ALAS, it is the new year and that means it is time to start making videos again! (yaaay). I thought I'd start the year off with a nice and simple 'Winter Haul', hauling some of the things I have collected on my time away from making videos.

ENJOY!

2015

So rather than posting the worlds largest status or 1000 separate tweets about the last year and what a new year has to bring, I thought I'd write a post on here. Whether or not it'll be long... I don't know.

2014 wasn't the best year of my life persay, there were many things wrong with that year, but there were also just as many good things about/in that year which I'll never forget.

I've lost friends, gained friends, gained new experiences and done new things. I started a relationship in early January and am 1000000% happy to say we're still together now and I'm happier with him than I've ever been.

I've been to weddings, work do's, parties and even took the plunge of leaving Newlook after 2 1/2 years in an attempt to work up and move on with my life (and am totally thankful for everything Newlook has done for me and some of the most amazing people I've ever met).

I started making videos (vlogging) on YouTube.

I celebrated my 19th in total style in London staying at the St. Pancras hotel with my boyfff.

Even though 365 days isn't that long in the many many more that there is to life, I feel like I've learnt a lot this year. I've learnt more about who I am and who I want to be, I've learnt about others and I feel like I've become a lot wiser in the problems that have faced me this year.

I'm positive about the future and am excited to see what 2015 has to hold and thank you to all of you who have made my 2014 great, especially Charlie who has been there through all the good and bad and has somehow managed to put up with me for what will soon be ONE YEAR.

Finally, I'd like to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all and I hope this year brings you everything you want.

WISHLIST

Being poor isn't the most fun thing in the world. Not only can I not afford things, but a list of things I wish I could afford to buy starts to pile up (not fun).

Considering I'm having to contain my excitement for buying these things until I... Well... Can afford to buy these things (but probably wont because I'll still be poor), I thought I'd show you instead for the mean time.

Pretty much sold out in most MAC stores, this is a bitch to find. BUT such a super lovely colour that isn't too nude for you to not be able to tell it's on your lips... If that makes sense?

I love myself a bit of Topshop. I love myself a bit of jumper, and I love myself a bit of Christmas festiveness, which is what makes this jumper completely perfect for me as it is ALL THREE of those things.

I LOVEEEE this coat. THE COLOUR. THE FUR. THE SIZE. It's just so lovely and looks so lovely and is just so lovely. Have I said lovely enough times for you to understand how lovely I find this coat yet?!?!?! Thought so.
P.s. LOVELY

Talking about breaking the bank here... This beauty will sure do that. Especially with the large memory that I'll be wanting on this bad boy. Editing on my iMac isn't enough... She does her job well, but unfortunately, has to stay stationary whilst I do all of this - a mac-book, however, will be entirely practical.

Another apple product *sigh* slave to the apple *sigh* YES. I LOVE APPLE PRODUCTS and an iPhone 6 comes onto the list of apple products wanted. My iPhone 5 has been a great buddy over these years, but unfortunately is slowly on its way out and is in need of replacing... iPhone 6, you'll do just fine.

So yeah, Santa... If you want to break the budget this year, I wouldn't entirely mind (only joking). But it goes without saying that these things are pretty expensive and it's going to take me quite a while to save up for them, but a girl can dream, right?

Lush Purchases

*I WROTE THIS POST A VERY LONG TIME AGO BUT FORGOT TO POST IT. I, HOWEVER, AM STILL GOING TO POST IT, DESPITE THE FACT IT'S OLD. ENJOY ANYWAY!*

As per, my posts have been long apart, however this time I have a much more interesting read (hopefully interesting, anyway) and that is... LUSH. As many of you may know, I love a good lush product. I love that they're natural, cater for everyone and smell, well... Lush.

SOOOOOOO, as pay day has long been and gone, I was happy to see the amount that I had earned and thought I should treat myself to a few Lush goodies. Some of these products I have used in the past and so have bought them again because I love them, however, I also thought I'd go for a few different things to what I usually buy.

---

First of all, I did go into Lush with a problem in mind and that was the dreaded cellulite. A lot of people have cellulite and I am one of those unfortunate people. I don't have it SUPERBADOMG, but it is enough to bother me. So along with (attempting to) eating healthy, working out and drinking plenty of water, I wanted something else to help bring down the appearance.

Looking online gave me a lot of help and I found that many people said 'Buffy' helped them with the lumps and bumps on their bums, however, after talking to two different people who work in Lush, they said that 'sugar scrub' works best for cellulite.

SUGAR SCRUB
Priced at a very decent price of '£2.95', it will definitely last you a good amount of time.
"Scrub up nicely with this mix of sugar, grated ginger and fresh fennel that’s not only great for brightening the skin, but also helps to boost circulation and buff the skin. Use a little of this intense scrub and gently exfoliate the skin while its ingredients get to work stimulating the tissue below." - Lush site.
I've used this three times (there is no limit to how often you can use it) however, the texture is scratchy and so people with sensitive skin may want to use it not so often.
I have noticed a small difference since I've used it and the lumps and bumps are not as noticeable, hopefully with more use they'll be even less noticeable.
I'm very impressed with this product and as well as the very good price, I will definitely be buying this again.
HOW TO USE: Break off a as much as you want each time and rub it into wet skin. DO NOT wet the whole product (like I did the first time I got it) as the product will break apart into mush and make a mess on your side.

---

Not only did I buy Sugar Scrub, but I also did buy 'Buffy', purely from the good reviews that I saw online and thought it would be worth it to try the product out. I haven't yet used it as I am waiting until I have used 'Sugar Scrub' up, but from talking to a member of staff at the store, they said it leaves the skin feeling silky soft after use - and that's always a good thing.

Having a bath can be both annoying and good - annoying purely for the fact that sometimes a quick shower is needed. However, the main good thing about a bath (besides it being relaxing) is the fact that you can use bath bombs/bubbles/melts. Whilst in the store to buy my cellulite saving products, I couldn't help but buy a few bath bombs (that I have already used).

And finally, I asked for help on products for my face. I no longer have huge spots surrounding my face and the redness has gone. However, there are tiny red dots left and I wanted something that would keep the quality of my skin the same, but finally remove the red dots. I understand that using face masks will bring out any looming spots and then take them all away, but I didn't want something that would momentarily bring my spots out.

So due to being unsure of what product to use, I was given a free sample of 'Fresh Farmacy'. I have only used this once so far and it definitely made my face look fresh. I feel that I need to use it more than once to see if it will actually bring down the red dots, but fingers crossed!

To use this, you just rub it into wet hands or onto a wet face. I usually leave it a little while before washing it off. I felt like my face was literally squeaky clean and it made the appearance of my skin look bright and soft. I'm definitely considering buying this product, however I want to use it a little more before I make a firm decision.
Price: £4.75
