Topshop Swimsuit

Around a year ago, I remember seeing the most beautiful polka dot swimsuit in Topshop and for some reason never bought it - probably because I never go on holiday. Of course, that product eventually left the site and I was left wishing I bought it. But alas! A very similar (in my opinion, better) version has made an appearance.

I noticed it originally on the Topshop website, but when casually having a browse through the store, I noticed it in my size = it was meant to be, obvs.

I did, of course, buy the swimsuit (priced at £36) and I most definitely don't regret it - despite the fact that I'm not going on holiday any time soon... or that it isn't even summer yet. The material is very soft and the swimsuit feels comfortable. You can have it either halterneck or without the straps at all. Personally, I think it looks better as a halterneck though.

I love the classic look that this swimsuit gives and I definitely recommend it if you're considering buying it.

Brit Awards Best Dressed

Another award show - more worst and best dressed.

If you've read my 'BAFTA Best Dressed' post, you'll know that this will pretty much be the same, just the Brit awards instead. So here are some of what I think were the best dressed celebs of the evening.

Pixie Lott - DKNY
Hannah Reid - Elie Saab
Lily Allen - WilliamVintage
Pharrell Williams - Lanvin
Bastille
Tinie Tempah - Dolce&Gabbana

BAFTAs Best Dressed

I'm a big fan of watching award shows. I love seeing the famous faces, what (or who) they're wearing and the awards they win. As you're all aware, the BAFTA's were not too long ago and there were definitely some well dressed celebrities.. and badly dressed, of course.

Instead of bringing those worst dressed to your attention, I thought I'd share who I thought were some of the best dressed of the night.

Fearne Cotton - Scaasi
I'm a big lover of Fearne, I think she has great music and fashion taste and to top it off she's a beauty. Most people probably are not fans of this dress, and I admit that it would only suit a rare amount of people, but Fearne definitely pulled this off at the award show.

Angelina Jolie - Saint Laurent
When I first saw what Angelina was wearing to the BAFTA's, I didn't know whether I liked her choice, however, after a while, I definitely warmed to the idea. Angelina definitely pulled this off perfectly. With casual hair and makeup, she made this look one of the best at the event.

Samantha Barks - Calvin Klein
Uma Thurman - Versace
Olga Kurylenko - Burberry
Laura Haddock -
Helen McCrory - John Rocha

New Tattoo, Folks!

So on Thursday 13th Feb, 2014, I travelled to Seven Magpies, Bedford with my friend to get my 5th tattoo done. In the past I haven't been nervous about getting tattoos done, but for this one I was. I've heard that the guy I was going to (Mark) was amazing at portrait tattoos and so I decided to go with him because I wanted to have the best with what I had in mind.

The idea I had was to have a fox tattooed on my right index finger, inspired by a tattoo shown on bangbangnyc's instagram (not Cara D's lion tattoo). There's no particular meaning behind this tattoo and so some of you may think it's pointless - I don't care, soz.

After a long while of attempting to get the right size to fit my finger without it being too small, mark began. I must admit, some parts did hurt (i.e. the bottom knuckle area) otherwise, I think I handled it like a right pro. It wasn't an awkward experience and I am beyond impressed with what he managed to do considering a finger isn't the easiest place to tattoo.

In my personal opinion, I thought my tattoo ended up being better than the original and for that, I am super happy.

Couldn't recommend this place enough, so if you're debating on places to go, try out 'Seven Magpies' because it's definitely worth it.

Mulberry: Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne seems to be taking the world by storm. Not only has she the reputation of being one of the best models, but also has: acting, sister (Poppy Delevingne), best friend (Rihanna), awesome eyebrows, great eye skills AND can play the drums. Now to push her in further greatness, she has her own collection for Mulberry - which looks pretty great.
With prices ranging from £890 - £2,500, it's safe to say these bags don't come cheap, but hey, a girl can dream, right?

The bags will be available in three different sizes and of course range in different designs, all of which Cara wanted to have a personal touch - "Cara wanted each bag to be like opening a letter with a lovely surprising touch. Inside you can discover a small lion rivet and a heart shaped patch based on Cara's own heart tattoo." - mulberry website.

I think I've found a new thing to save for.  Heck, if I can buy a pair of £695 shoes, I can buy a £890 bag.
