Return to the Potter Tour

Last year, me and three friends bought ourselves tickets to go to the Potter tour (yes, it was amazing) but due to having a time of 5.30pm, I felt like we couldn't get the full viewing of everything. Because of this, me and another friend (Nick, who was there originally) are going back to the studios in Watford at 12.30 to make the best of the tour! Super excited? I think so.

There are so many great things to see and experience there (Butterbeer and gift shop being the main) and I totally recommend going. I'm going to take a load of photos and create a blog post of the day and I'm also going to make a vlog from the day, so keep an eye out!

This was only a small post just to pretty much say HOW DAMN EXCITED I AM TO GO BACK, so it's nothing big, but just an update, really!

Essie Nail Foil Review

Whilst on a trip to St Albans, I decided to stop off at Boots to buy myself Company magazine and came across THISSSS:
image from google
It was like love at first sight. I know how to get the effect of writing on nails (just use a newspaper, really) but I was too lazy to do it. So what better yet than to just buy it!
It is easy application, all you need to do is follow the steps (easy to understand) that come with the nail foils and WALLAH! You have yourself lovely looking nails. It comes with a nail file that helps you get rid of the excess bits that hang off of your nail and the foils should last around 10 days. You can wash your hands and bathe and it doesn't effect the stickers.

What I have found with nail foils is that when removing them, they make my nail go a funny texture, whereas with these, they kept my nail in good condition - so well done with that!

I've had LOADS of compliments with these nail foils and countless people asking where they are from, so if you are interested "CLICK THIS"

Help! I Need a Holiday

With everyone going off to uni and about to experience the best time of their lives, I am stuck here in crummy ol' Luton. Am I regretting not going to uni? Maybe. But I don't regret saying no to the choice I chose (Television broadcasting). In the mean time, I wish to have a little time away to be 100% sure that taking the plunge that I am prepared to do (i.e. move far, far away to study acting - or just London). I'm not even asking for a sunny, expensive destination. All I need is a comfy, relaxing cabin. Maybe even Centre Parcs will do me well?

Anyway, I know that I need a holiday. I can just imagine myself and my boyf (boyfriend) having a little trip away (me, being the driver to the destination, of course) and acting like adults going out, buying our food and cooking it. Not only is it rare that I go on holiday, but for the almost two years that we have been together, we have never been away *gasp*. I think it's needed.

Comfy beds away are calling.

New Look Haul

It's that time of year again where I start to go a little crazy on buying clothes, and what has surprised me, is that most of my money is being spent in New Look - not saying that New Look is a bad shop, but I'm usually spending my money in Topshop. On a down note, I've been finding it increasingly hard to find things I like in Topshop (and that makes me sad because Topshop is my faveeee place).

However, it is a major plus that I work in New Look (discount) and so I do save money when it comes to buying clothes there.

As we are heading towards Winter, New Look has gone through little changes, including the writing of their name...
Quality of their bags, and of course, better clothes! (which leads me on to the point of this post). Because I have been so happy with my recent purchases, I felt the need to share with them you.

The tartan dress (on hanger) is of appearance of a smock dress - which I love - so instead of using the bits of string attached (which is meant for a belt) I will probably remove them and have the dress as a smock dress because it looks best like that. The colour and feel of the dress is lovely and I knew I had to buy it the moment I saw it.

I love kimonos and the moment I saw the flowery kimono in the New Look store on Oxford Street, I was in love. I didn't actually buy it on that day, but I saw the kimono again a few days later whilst shopping at Milton Keynes because it was too pretty to not get.

YouTube

Aloha! So, after much consideration, I have decided to join the YouTubing world and start making 'vlogs'! I will, of course, continue to blog (because I love it) but I will give an early apology if 'vlogging' causes later blog posts, but due to not going to uni, this and work will now become more of a priority.

If you want to see what stuff I post, then feel free to subscribe: YOUTUBE
I haven't got any videos up at the mo, they are currently being edited, so keep an eye out!

Welcome to Hollywood

As some of you may know, I had a 'Hollywood' themed party a while back (August 17th). I had been planning the party a few months in advance and was buying little bits for the party along the way. Here are a few of my favourite decorations...

I tried to think of everything, so in the hall I created a V.I.P. area where there were sofas and BEER PONG. In another room, I created an 'eating experience' with popcorn, cakes (including: Rum cakes, chocolate cakes, orange cakes, vanilla cakes, chocolate centre cakes) and the other classic foods you find at parties. Also, I thought it would be a cool idea to have AMERICAN STYLE CUPS and some sticky labels for people who wanted to label their drinks.
With a total of at least 3 hours attempting to set up the hall (Chalton Village Hall) into what only slightly resembled something from Hollywood - i.e. Hollywood decorations everywhere - I only had just under an hour to get ready.

I didn't manage to take many photos because I was busy making sure everyone was ok and having a good time, HOWEVER, I thought of the idea to have a PHOTO BOOTH! So that is where all the photos were taken. Here are some of the best ones that I found from the booth:

Overall, it was a pretty awesome night. If you're planning of a themed party, here are some of the sites I thought worked best:
